My Far Away Family

today, the daughter and hubby saw each other for about 3 hours. i wonder whether yaman asks herself why they need to sleep in different houses. why as her daddy, he could not be there where she is? does she wonder why mommy stays in the same house too when she's here in naga, but not him? these questions could be answered but not in the way perhaps that is normal, but which to the mind of a child would suffice. in set-ups brought about by parent absenteeism and de facto partnerships, children contend with environments that just are. it is us conditioned by the normality who question.
