Yaman, Salamat sa Diamond!

it's like magic. yaman asked what our (her mommy and daddy's) favorite shapes are.  it's a circle for her daddy. and for me? i asked her, 'do you know mommy's favorite shapes?'. yes, mommy - heart, flower, star...(but there's another one, i said to myself)...and...diamond! the pride in her face apparent for having 'guessed' rightly. but it was not a guess i know. it was from her subconscious, her social memory, etched by the uniqueness of our relationship and her memory of that. perhaps when she was still very much young, we drew diamonds together. perhaps i pointed it out in one of her shapes books. but she remembered. yaman remembered. only a daughter could remember that way, just out of nowhere.
